_AR_
That dusting of snow on top of the ice on my driveway.... holy ****... I couldn't even walk on it. Cindered it now so it's passable. lol
Isotherm
Do you live on a farm or are your parents just "well off"? That farm is owned by someone who just moved to the area. The neighborhood was built on the farm when it stopped operating back in the mid 1990s, then this new guy (who is very well off) has added horses to the field behind the neighborhood houses, and built a huge farm style house which took 3 years to complete. So in short, yes, I live next to a farm, and that farm is owned by someone else who is quite wealthy..
Isotherm
46 and sunny now but snowpack holding strong. Can still walk on top, and it takes some effort getting the ruler through down to the grass (about 8-9" deep). Late week will be when we really melt, with the warm overnights, much like 47-48. Parsley
A dreary Sunday here.......the weekend turned out rather crappy, gusty winds, limited sunshine and chilly temperatures. Snowpack is holding strong, especially with no sunshine most of the weekend here.
ChescoWx
High today only 42.0 here in NW Chesco...AM low was 22.5 Did some extensive snow measurements today and am amazed at how much more solid the snowcover has become over the last week. On the front exposed hills there is still a general 6" of snow...while in the back of my house there is a general 10 to 12" . The Wxsim finally has 63 here for a high on Thursday. Hopefully we will at long last see some grass....it has been way too long!
