Quakertown needs snow
inch ot 2 of snow..not your area but phl. I don;t like that we have to depend on a ccb and dynamics to changeover. Up in your area will have no rpoblem getting snow. very difficult storm. I'll post pic's maybe next weeks will be easier with cold high support . famartin
I posted this earlier in the storm thread but I'm thinking 3-6" for TTN on Wednesday night after a sleety mess Wednesday morning and probably rain Wednesday afternoon. This appears to jive fairly well with PHI's thoughts

mattinpa
Does anyone think the storm would literally skip over us like the 18z NAM projects?
Parsley
for phl and near by areas with wed storm, expect an inch or so, if you get more consider it a win. Ha good idea, or do the elevation + mileage game..... 1" from PHL add 1" for every 100' in elevation and add 1" every 20 miles north or west of PHL. Example: PTW: 200' and 40 miles = 3 in. +2 in. = 5 inches total Lets see how that plays out

Yes_Probably_Maybe_No
the hills of drexel hill will be whiter than the valley locations. 3-6"??? 3-6"??? We worked so hard to slow this down, get some colder air worked in, and you're going with 3-6"?? You've got some chutzpah... j/k I actually agree 100% with that map. Although the models are coming into agreement with the CCB and huge 6 hour precip amounts, I think the safer route that you chose is best. That and the temps are still iffy along with the whole "pray for strong dynamics" idea that may backfire.
Parsley
Lets see......waking up to....a light dusting of snow and 24 degrees. I see the Euro came in juicy overnight, the 06z NAM and RGEM lose their juice, the 6z GFS has a tad less than 00z. Should be an interesting 12z run for sure

WebBreaker63
Tough time getting out of EWR this morning - sudden snow burst at around 0730 caused some icing delays. So now I am out in Seattle (business) and have to keep the family informed of upcoming potential snow - otherwise they would wake up Thursday morning and say Oh Snow Told my 18 year old son to be ready with his muscles - this ain't gonna be like the other "puffy" snows - he needs a workout anyway

Parsley
16 degrees here this morning with a high overcast. Appears as though the overnight 00z models are a tad "milder" across the board for next weeks storm......

Parsley
What in the world happened? Did everyone melt down or something? Something like that. The upcoming storm resulted in some anger/frustration I believe. Can't control the weather, some people will never learn.
