snowstormcanuck
See, trends are pointing up. What a struggle up there. In light of it, I consider myself very lucky for this past December. The future looks like a whole lot of blah for a lot of us it seems. Given how long this blocking regime has been in place (Dec 2009), you'd think just out of random luck a storm would have emerged. I've never seen a multi-season pattern so all encompassing. There's no jog in the narrative, just more of the same.

Yeah it really was a miracle that we had the February we did last winter to even eek out normal snowfall. When we probably should have been somewhere in the 25-35" range. BowMeHunter
Pube hair shy of an inch today... Another overachiever that I expected nothing from... Spirits are getting a little higher now that the grass is almost all covered again and my pucker hole is healing. I feel like Josh getting all these pennies and nickles though but it all adds up and there is still not too many things better than watching any amount of snow fall in most cases. OhioValleyWx
I think 3" is decent in the Dayton area. High ratios and just over .10" could yield 25 to 1 rates. Only sour thing is it will take 2 waves to get there. Basically, 1" by Fri AM and 1-2" by Sat mid day. Maybe a Lake Enhanced inch late Sat into Sun. At least the ground will be white again. Not often you see the GTA getting northbound LES off Ontario. Looking at KBUF and WKR radar, looks like a band may be building over Etobicoke. Oh, and light snow. Looking at KBUF and WKR radar, looks like a band may be building over Etobicoke. Oh, and light snow. S/SSE LES is pretty rare. I remember once in the late 1990s EC had a snowsquall warning out for Durham and Northumberland counties for south wind LES off Lk Ontario but usually crashing inversion heights/crashing Delta Ts make it tough to get. Yeah, some big flaked light snow has just started but it's nothing like what's going on down the road.

I doubt it. It isnt a very big town. It is close to Red Deer. But Ive been to Kingston as well. Both pretty nice towns, But I liked Olds a lot better. Was treated pretty rudely in Kingston lol. But yea, Ive been all over Canada. Banff had to be my favorite place. Amazing.
