phil882
Folks in Northern Haywood and North-Central Buncombe county... the next 1-2 hours might feature a very small but potent band of moderate to heavy snow! The band is working its way over from Tennessee and has recently been intensifying as it crosses the mountains. Lookout for 1"+ per hour rates! Buddy
It is unreal how hard it is snowing and how big the flakes are. Yea, had some of those here, just massive rates, I picked up an inch in about 30 mins at one point. In a lull right now, and had a bit of graupel mixing in at the end of it. Sitting just over 5" now.
