Didn't expect this.... looks like a raging blizzard a few hundred feet off the ground to me west. Maybe some of that will make it down to me! mercurydime Posted January 8, 2011 Share Posted January 8, 2011 had bursts of snow here all morning...heavier than last night's. the energy was sapped it would seem crossing the continental divide last night... while there's been no real accumulation to speak of, the snow is coming in here at times almost sideways, and man is it cold with the wind. showing 25.5F right now with a slight upward trend... really interested to see with this next one if we get any totals increase from the topology here right up next to the escarpment... Looked like a storm from the spring/summer coming through with the dark, low clouds. Sun out now and no trace of it anywhere. Nice little surprise!
