40/70 Benchmark
Exact same evolution. I'll defer because I wasn't looking at H5.....I wish it would consolidate more, though.

Damage In Tolland
I sometimes wonder why some folks try to interpret model runs before they are done when they have no idea what they are doing. Most can do it..a few have no idea
40/70 Benchmark
974mb low 50 mi E of BOS at 126...blizzard conditions if that happened. Does the H5 evoloution makes sense to you
weathafella
I'm only speaking of this run..... Maybe it is similar to 12z, it just looks more flukey, to me. I'd say a low out SE retrograding in via an inverted trof is a fluke. Just what 12Z did as well. But also what some of our great storms have done. Just a thought. Organizing Low
its defintely ticked north and east by a hair it is kind of like hanging by a dildo of snow as Ray so eloquently put it but it is still heavy snow for now.

Kbosch
I'm sorry, parking the low so far out like that and extending a 300 mile long dildo of snow doesn't instill much confidence....there is no doubt that will not work out. +1, that was objective, not negative. Kbosch
The truth is, when you see an initial swing and miss, you normally don't expect it to come back and give you 2 feet... And do we really expect that to happen in reality?

Outcome notwithstanding, I concur with those who are really bothered by the setup. Way too close for things to go wrong in a really bad way.
