Roger Smith Posted January 2, 2011 Share Posted January 2, 2011 The month has also come in second coldest in the 352-year CET series, finishing at -0.7 C just behind Dec 1890 at -0.8 C. Given that temperatures were generally below -1 C in the period Nov 23 to Dec 27, we could assume this was the coldest start to winter in a long time.
