kurtstack
can it get any more negative from the Leesburg crew? Only gonna get worse until they get some appreciable snow, which I think is 20+ inches in their minds, so get used to it.

usedtobe
yeah not even close at 500 by 78 Good, but let's hope for a big storm to the north so we get a strong 50 50 low in place prior to next weeks system. That's what I'm hoping for. Do you think now some will say the euro has trended towards the gfs?

stormtracker
To some, not you, but some, it probably is. How can anybody worth their salt tracking weather believe that? If the Euro had held serve today, I STILL wouldn't have believed it. H5 lows don't do that...there's a reason why we've seen it only like 3 times in the last 40 years? Sparky
12Z GFS has highs of 25 on Saturday and 33 on Sunday for Martinsburg. But, with NW winds 20-30 mph, wind chills would be in the single digits during the day and below zero at night. Plenty chilly. Yeah, but nothing we haven't already seen in December.
