LocoAko
I posted this from The Gothamist, who called it "Idiot with a Tripod", a play off of "Man with a Camera". Either way, it was a great film.
millpondwx
Pretty cool short documentary of the recent blizzard from Astoria Queens. According to Roger Ebert, it's Oscar worthy. green tube
It's well done, but Academy Award worthy??? Come on Roger... he said, "the Academy Award for best live-action short subject." so i dont think the guy is competing against warner brothers. i think the film, for what it is, is nearly perfect
ag3
Nice video. A lot of those scenes were 1 block from my house.
Sampson
A pleasure to watch. I only wish he would have included a few shots at sunrise when the snow stopped...maybe just a shot of his front door opening, a short scan of the street and a nice fade out. Agreed - finish with a sun shot of buried cars on a street that had yet to sniff a plow. However, that's a minor quibble about a great product.
