00z NAM interesting developments

As many have noted the models today really emphasized the possibility of Mondays front stalling as it clears off the coast and a low developing on it, causing a possible Rain to snow for many, and small accumulations.

The 00z NAM really peeked my normally low interest tonight.

Just gave a quick diagram of what I'm noticing here. It looks like compared to the other models it is really lagging the tail end of the shortwave and the cold front has almost cleared the coast.

We can see on this 700mb map moisture is forming near LA

Here is the 18z GFS @ 90 HRS, note the differences in the location of the wave

Just something to keep an eye on!
