Atlas Posted December 28, 2010 Share Posted December 28, 2010 Its only one model run, but if this afternoons 18z GFS is correct a cold and stormy pattern is on its way again for the East Coast. 500mb @ 168 hours -Greenland blocking showing up big time -PV in Central Canada -Energy out west as ridge pumps over it. 300mb @ 204 hours Look at the STJ, with this setup you could expect some energy and moisture about to pump out from the Southwest. The block continues to show up on the GFS as it continues: This shows me that there may be a potential for another significant winter storm in the East around Jan 10-20 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
