ski MRG
Bob, any fool can accidentally ski off a cliff.lol That's what you get for letting the French coordinate a sequence. They suck at war too. Chris, can't see what you posted but my guess is it's some boring park shots.lol Big mountain action is where it's at. You can't get high on adrenaline riding rails. You nailed it. And you may not be able to get adrenaline highs on rails, but let me tell you. Launching a 50' jump while spinning and going slightly inverted gets your heart pumping. I'd still ski trees or powder any day over that though, I just really have no choice skiing in CT other than to ride park. When I go to Vermont the other side of me comes out. When I was growing up some close family friends owned a ski shop and every fall we would go to their house for a pre-season party to watch the promotional ski films they'd get. Real old school, a projectot and screen, VCR were just coming out. I remember waching lot's of films like that. Cool pastel outfits.lol I still have a pair of red Solomon knee pads like the one dude sported. Good to see the roots. Totally far out.

HoarfrostHubb
Just back from a couple hours at the mountain, So nice that the holiday week crowds are gone. Parked in row 4, but there were a decent amount of people out tonight. Lots of snow gone due to the meltdown this past weekend, but the snowmaking did the trick and the trails were good. Some of the upper mountain was full of ice cookies miked with powder, some icy spots but not bad. Fast conditions. Good to get a few runs in before settling in to do some schoolwork. 22.4F Beauty of a night

cheetah440
I think I still have my K2 Extremes from back in the day, circa 1992 or so. I had the Extremes back then too but went back to my K2 VO's SL 1984/5, still my all time favorite. I'm a bit scared to ski them too hard now. They seem a bit brittle. Logan11
A bit of fresh powder in Hunter maybe.... I got about an inch as that lake effect band swept south earlier. I drove past Hunter Mountain on Monday and the natural snow was reduced to several inches , but of course they make plenty of snow. 23 -sn, nothing beats free skiing
