moneypitmike
i think there is a chance of a little freezing rain tonight havent seen this mentioned yet I doubt it. With temps in the 40's today, I don't think you can generate cold enough surface temps for any freezing.

moneypitmike
I usually don't like those maps for anything more than general trends of depth. That said, they both have me pegged correctly. 44.3/

ski MRG
Crazy temp profile today, currently 42 here in the glen but just up out of the Glen in the mid 50's. Plenty of snow for tobogganing . Berkshire Snow Basin was excellent with the snow easily packing into awesome runs. First trip down is a little slow as the snow is relatively deep "wet powder". But once we had a few routes packed down it was greased lightning. While we were on the ascent there would be a very warm breeze every now and then. Disgustingly warm actually. I'm outside from dawn to dusk nearly everyday and I don't think I've felt air that warm since the last time I golfed in early November. Fun times and the AK people a little bummed to have to head back in a few days. Me too.

Cold Miser
. . . 50F right now. Not sure why I haven't gone into the mid 50's like some? It was 51.5 earlier. Snow cover severely damaged but surviving. Most of the exposed patches are from my pesky kids. Damn it, they won't leave my snow alone!!! Also some of the leafy areas of the woods have more ground exposure as well. Tomorrow I will go into the woods more to see how the snow cover is doing there becuase right now we are dismantling Christmas crap.

Cold Miser
Smell that spring air! It was a beautiful morning - 8:53AM in Stratford, how gorgeous is this? It would be more gorgeous if it were a precurser to a major winter storm.
