Alpha5
Very well put! I guarantee you many of the non-mets who come in here and constantly criticize mets wouldn't last 2 semesters in met school. I think when people see the red tag they expect you to have all the answers and to not bend down to weenie level; which is not possible for any met

eduggs
hr 120 on euro light snow from cva-albany..broad area of low pressure east of acy...996 Definitely moving toward more climatologically normal positioning of features... keeping the pv in Canada. Widespread light snow. Still manages a sharp s/w trof along the east coast at 120hr despite the primary upper level system being so far north. Could threaten eastern NE. There's no real phasing on this run, but at the same time, the clipper digs further South. We manage to do OK.

Alpha5
Not bad on the Euro for NYC, looks like the low bombs out a touch to late for the NYC area and is too far northeast for philly. Stil looks rather disorganized, but at this range just having a decent storm is fine by me. I'd like to see the PV not get squashed so early on because if that happens it tends not to dig as much as we need it too

earthlight
Something new brewing down there? Flow is way too flat to get it up the coast verbatim. The PV is elongated west to east over Southern Canada. 540dm heights over DC.

earthlight
138 hrs H85 temps are above 0c for most of SE New England..sfc temps also mighty warm. I wouldn't worry about the surface but verbatim there are mid level issues in Southern New England east or south and east of 40/70's house.
