Flying MXZ
A whopping 3" today. I don't think the high ratios were realized here as the flake size was tiny all day.

Couchsachraga
I'm waiting until tomorrow to plow.... I'm hoping we'll have a bit more then actually. West Mtn - find and old map and look up Feeder Dam... or look on a current map and find the actual Feeder Dam. I'm just up river a few hundred yards:) You COULD walk here, but it would take a little while:) I find it interesting comparing our snow totals and temps (here and on the old site) - you are at the base of the mountain, I'm pretty much at the bottom of the valley (well, Glens Falls is a bit lower elevation, but not by much... just further down the river). edited to add: Would be great to have you and Andy over some time... or perhaps better yet a GFL gathering of members at Davidsons

I agree it would be a blast. We all must live within a 10 mile radius of each other. ETA I don't know what town Andy lives in but it does not matter, we can figure out the logistics after!! Logan11
Looks like 3 inches here now. When you consider how fluffy this is ...the model qpf was grossly overdone. It kept trimming back with each run and now my guess is that melted down this can't be more than .2" . So best case scenario we get .3" qpf out of this when all is said and done. Snowing moderately right now, but most of the time it is light. I was in some very good stuff down near Hudson/Catskill earlier. They may have ended up with 6 inches. POU had 4" when I left there at 2:30 PM so they probably added another inch anyway. I picked up 7 - 8 inches today.....Just getting a little light snow right now.....I should get in on some the the LES tormorrow

Logan11
I drove past Schroon Lake on Tuesday on my way to the courthouse in Elizabethtown. You were having that little clipper at the time. Very little snow for January, but the lake looked pretty frozen. Big 3" so far here in Schroon Lake

Unless I had Plattsburgh I would loop along the Champlain from Port Henry, Grover Hills,Essex, Willsboro,Lewis,E-Town Westport nice area but remote is an understatement. Logan11
Yeah pretty remote, but on the other hand they have a huge diverse city 90 minutes north ...Montreal. I was thinking how lonely exit 30 of the Northway is now. That used to have Frontier Town and that nice McDonalds...now it's dead there. I used to deliver to E-Town. Besides Keen and the Keene Valley (which are both very small towns) there is very little on that road west (73).
Logan11
Yep Lake Placid exit.... You'd think being the L.P. exit there would be some life there, but it is so dark and quiet.... When I was a kid Frontier Town theme park was hopping there and even in the 90's that big A Frame shaped McDonalds was there and we'd stop after our hikes when I went with the SUNYA outing club. But now back to nature...... That is the exit to Lake Placid / Whiteface? Besides Keen and the Keene Valley (which are both very small towns) there is very little on that road west (73).
