earthlight
I have family in Westfield, and they are estimating between 22 and 24 inches. It's hard to get an accurate measurement with all the blowing and drifting. Not a bad estimate. I got around 26 but that was an hr ago. This storm is unreal...and we have been sitting in 30+DBZ since 6 pm. Can't even describe how awesome it is.
SACRUS
nah border of middlesex. I guess they have it worse on border of Mercer, but im in the infinitely small band of light snow in between the two deform bands lol Whats your total? im in monroe are near 20"
Zir0b
Yeah...I think that total is extremely unlikely and was measured in a drift. I will say that you have a shot at approaching that amount though...wxtap indicating dark greens redeveloping over Essex/Union again
SnowGoose69
screw zone! It matches well with the other NYC report of 10.0 at 10pm....I believe they are relatively close to being right on it, given the 2 airports are at 11 and Central Park was closer to the mega band
Ababa
Central Park 13.0 as of 105am If the report earlier of 1.5" liquid is accurate we are looking at around 8.5 to 1 ratios for a storm that has taken place with temps in the low 20s......worst ratios ever. Of course what is more likely is another terrible measuring job at CPK.
Collegestudent11
I agree that there are not 32 inches in edison right now. I am anticipating 30+ after the bands finish over the area. I think that we are in the upper twenties right now.
weatherweather
Whats your total? im in monroe are near 20" measured between 20 and 24 about an hour ago, mayb gotten an inch since. Zir0b
The snow amounts with this storm will look something like 12/30/00 over NYC/NJ but shifted about 20-30 miles east

Seems to match up with the radar for this event too, they never really get stuck in a deform band like some of us in jersey.
SnowGoose69
How much does EWR have? 20, but they spent much more time under the mega band than Central Park
cjr231
Its just ripping snow still. Radar is starting to look even better, heavier stuff filling back in. Have a real shot of hitting 30 here. Best storm ever for me.

cjr231
what are you sittin on atm up there? Its really tough to say because the drifting is massive. Id say at least 2 feet. Probably a little more. And that's a conservative call.
