Wow BDL with a peak gust to 56..That is impressive for that snow/valley/wind hole

yeah, real impressive. They were due north most of the night... low level dry air wasn't the issue it was mid level drying and crappy snow growth. It basically didn't snow 9pm-3 a.m. lol.

52 knots at BDR and DXR... 48 knots OXC and BDL. Really impressive.

There was mid level drying... it was def a dry slot but wasn't any CT river valley shadowing we were just in a bad spot with subsidence between 2 mesoscale bands.

Best snows this morning will be west of you but you'll make up some ground.

We're ripping here in Southington now

Almost looks like the band over me and east is trying to merge with the band over Western CT..maybe we can get a big solid deformation band to rip us for a few hrs

I measured 3 different spots and all 3 of them were over 7 inches with the biggest being 9...

I have no sheltered spots at all so it;s the best i can do.

I thought i saw another 7 inch report in Tolland earlier

Union had 7.3

You had snow on the ground pe-event right... might explain the extra inch.
