CT Rain
I expect an epic Tolland meltdown at like 4:45.
Logan11
A decent band has made it out to around Cooperstown. The Hudson Valley south of Albany is ground zero I'd say...down into northeast NJ. I'm sure I have 4" now with a few more to go, but too far nw for an epic event. But a very windy snowy night..always good. Pete must have a lot ...never quits there. The band is about to really set up like earlier.. you can see it coming ashore now and on wv... more heavy snows to come hereee
TalcottWx
It's not a solid move.....it's "pulsing" up, just as it pulsed down; it's emitting spokes off to the west that will ultimately dry up, but each one takes progessively longer to do so, thus the end result is a deliberate edge west. The inverse of the way it eroded earlier. I understand, when I say band, I mean the heavier echos are moving towards me from the southeast

Logan11
You could realistically get to 12" which is a good heavy snowstorm. TalcottWx
A really classic boston scene here... plows have pretty much buried all cars on the street.. have to jump over the walls they created to cross the street.. Still snowpacked despite pause for a bit and drop to 1sm vis

wxsniss
Just took a walk through Brookline, MA, with 25 DBz band overhead... Photos below. This is no Jan 2005 for the Boston metro, in winds or snow rates. We'll see how the last .5-.8" qpf depicted on the 6Z ETA unfolds
bch2014
Had about 7.5 inches in concord at 145 will probably hit 11 or 12 inches by tomorrow. It is very tough to tell though because the wind has packed the snow down and it is very dense.
TheSnowman
One thing this storm gets full credit for is that my house is White. I was just thinking 2 weeks ago that outside of December 9th, 2005, I may never see my house fully white again. Tomorrow morning has a chance of tying that. Hey Rick, up early to get a jump on the powder day. Box's 10-16" overnight with an additional 3-5" through the morning looks like it's well on it's way to verification. Snow and wind continue to rage. Perfect time to head out to earn some turns. Good thing my job gives me Arctic training everyday.lol

Logan11
Right now I have heavy snow and extreme blowing and drifting. I dunno how long this will last, but ATM it is pretty fierce. 13.6F so the wind chills must be very low. Hey Rick, up early to get a jump on the powder day. TheSnowman
7/8 of Maine 3/4 of NH 4/5 of MA 100% of RI 100% of CT All of Southern NY and 100% of Long Island 1/2 of NJ 1/3 of Delaware ALL under a BLIZZARD WARNING at the SAME TIME!!!!!! Someone will have to answer the last time this has happened...... Bust of a storm or not, heavy falling snow is not needed for the Definition Criteria. (although wrong in my opinion).......... Logan11
Right now these are undoubtedly blizzard conditions here. +SN, extreme blowing and 13.8F. It would be localized because I'm on a very open ridge so don't expect blizzard warnings here....just WSW. weatherwiz
Had to take a break from shoveling, absolutely frozen, especially my feet since I don't have boots, and boy do I have my work cutout for me...spent the past hour working on just the driveway and it's loaded at the bottom b/c of the plows and what sucks is I have NO place to put the snow b/c my yard is surrounded by bushes so I either have to walk over to the curb and throw it on there or throw it in my next door neighbors yard. This is going to be a VERY long day.
