What a screwjob.

Just got back from Buffalo. Took over 2 hours to do the drive from Albany to the MA State Line..average speed 15-20 mph of all traffic. Unbelievable blizzard and heavy snow conditions, could barely see 100 feet in front of you.

And as soon as we got to reach Hampden County, boom, skies brighten, not much snow on the ground...and a snowhole like that.

Unreal.

NEWARK AIRPORT 20.0 107 AM 12/27 FAA CONTRACT OBSERVER

THAT's what I've been looking for! A Total at a Major Location so this storm can go down in the Books Somewhere!

ALSO -

New York City’s Top 10 Snowstorms

26.9 Inches – February 11-12, 2006

26.4 Inches – December 26-27, 1947

21.0 Inches – March 12-14, 1888

21.0 Inches - Snowverkill, 2010

20.2 Inches – January 7-8, 1996

19.8 Inches – February 16-17, 2003

18.1 Inches – March 7-8, 1941

18.0 Inches – December 26, 1872

17.7 Inches – February 5-7, 1978

17.6 Inches – February 11-12, 1983

4.7" More for the Top 10. 13" at 1am.

Be careful, Its says that an FAA observer reprted that 20" amount. He probably did it every hour wiping the snow off the board. Probably more like 13-14".

fwiw txt with a friend in pembroke and there's some mixing in that approach. That's the warm punch the nam forecast IMO, temps are skyrocketing on this side.

bands will setup there eastern 30% will be wet. Someone gets crushed.

THIS IS THE BAND that will rock until early morning. whoveer gets under it gets dumped.

Let me take a wild guess....Milton, Randolph, Boston....
