Damage In Tolland
Just full on frontal nudity 100% Tonight: Snow and areas of blowing snow before 4am, then snow likely and areas of blowing snow after 4am. The snow could be heavy at times. Some thunder is also possible. Low around 18. Windy, with a north wind between 22 and 32 mph, with gusts as high as 55 mph
CoastalWx
Models continue to paint QPF max right over Boston, and it appears plenty cold. You agree with BOX trimming us back? Some areas are gonna get more, but I can't say I disagree that much. I thought the other map was just fine, however. If it lightens up overnight, then those amounts will materialize, but lets hope the stuff south of sne fills on more.

makwx
The snow is falling moderately now. Not much on the ground yet. I assume that there was a lot of dry air that had to be overcome before the snowfall started. There was a lot on the radar for a couple of hours before the flakes. Avid6eek
I've been keyed on it myself for a while. Heavy heavies in that thar band. Mainly sleet giving such returns....it will still be heavy snow once it moves inland, but not as heavy as it appears.

HarveyLeonardFan
Updated Newport, RI pic band must be hitting them now This is the NW part of Newport. I'm a few miles south and the viz is better here, it's warmer, there's less snow on the ground and when the wind briefly gusts to 40 the water logged snow kinda falls/melts off all the trees. Damage In Tolland
Temp is down to 17.3 with heavy snow and gusts to 40+. If this isn't heaven I don't know what is

DomNH
Damn dryslot for c ma.. Njs getting crushed now It's not a dry slot so much as subsidence between the two main areas of banding right now I think. West of us so don't worry.
makwx
WeatherBug site over in Gardner has winds gusting to 26mph upper teens a lot 19.4 F here. I'm a bit closer to Rindge than to Gardner. Judging by the way my wind chimes are blowing around, those gust speeds sound about right.
