ORH_wxman
Lol...the conflicting reports on here are kind of funny. I think a lot of people's tunes will change in a few hours.
40/70 Benchmark
I'm probably already closing in on 8 here step off the ledge And the dry slot is a few hours from you.
Yukon Cornelius
I wonder if you are getting downsloped being west side of the spine of ORH hills...I've been getting pretty good dendrites and good accumulation near the crest of the east side. It's been pretty brutal. Hopefully things take a turn and the growth gets better. How much do you estimate you have at this point?

HoarfrostHubb
Central Park might have higher totals than anyone in SNE? Good for them... I am still liking this even for the wind alone...

40/70 Benchmark
I know, whats wrong with this event? Its a blizzard here I said it was a nice event, but nothing crazy as far as total accumulations; feel free to refute that after it ends. From a wind standpoint, it's been more impressive. Damage In Tolland
Lol...the conflicting reports on here are kind of funny. I think a lot of people's tunes will change in a few hours. I've never seen anything like this. People plunging to their deaths and lightning their hair on fire when the heaviest snows weren't expected until at 10:00pm. ctsnowstorm628
my buddy in middleboro mass called me in a min ago...32.9 and switched over to sleet. 8.5" there. CF obviously up to that area now...
ORH_wxman
And the dry slot is a few hours from you. I don't think Boston is going to get dryslotted. If they do it would be very brief.

mcberger50
Barre, Hubbardston, Keene, Winchendon are all doing pretty poorly from what I've read... Maybe when the wind turns a little it will improve. Lots of snow, but no real growth... Well, at least we have another 12-15 hours to go. Maybe I will get to 6" by then You can add Fitchburg to that list.

DeVries
You keep saying that, and yet I can see 1/2 mile out my window. I'm estimating for sure, but no way the vis is a half-mile. The Charles River is about 2000 feet away from me and I haven't seen that in a while. I could see well across it about an hour and a half ago. Right now I can see 2 streets over...the 3rd is BARELY discernable.

Boston-winter08
Lol...the conflicting reports on here are kind of funny. I think a lot of people's tunes will change in a few hours. everyone has said the worst will be from 10pm-5am...7 hours of 1-2 inches per hour in most places = an additional 7-14 + 2-5 during the day tmrw; i don't see anything wrong yet, especially since the band out in NYC will have to pivot out here before we are done

People plunging to their deaths and lightning their hair on fire when the heaviest snows weren't expected until at 10:00pm. As Andy said earlier..things have been slowed down instead of sped up timing wise I'm not pulling the plug, but I do think it is off to a relatively slow start I do tend to overreact and I admit that, but what I also do is admit when I am wrong and I will if that is the case.
