Typhoon Tip
Well gee, I don't know how else to interpret this other than not a blizzard .NEAR TERM /THROUGH MONDAY/... .UPDATE 18Z NAM/GFS AND 15Z SREF... NOT MUCH CHANGE FROM PREVIOUS THINKING WITH DRY SLOT PUNCHING THROUGH EASTERN LI AND INTO RI. THIS IS FRAGMENTING THE PRECIP SHIELD ACROSS THIS AREA WITH PRECIP BECOMING LESS ORGANIZED AND MORE CELLULAR. RECEIVING REPORTS OF THUNDER SNOW ACROSS SOUTHEAST MA AT THIS TIME. THE 18Z NAM/GFS AND 15Z SREF IN GOOD AGREEMENT THAT DRY SLOT WILL CONTINUE TO ADVANCE NORTHWARD INTO RI AND EASTERN MA. THIS WILL BRING AN END TO THE STEADY SNOWS ACROSS THIS AREA HOWEVER ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL CONTINUE AS INTERMITTENT LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL CONTINUE OVERNIGHT. ORH_wxman
The wind here is starting to get a bit ridiculous. I still have pretty solid dendritic growth after maybe just a brief period of cruddy flakes. Going out for a measurement in a bit. Looks like some nice bands starting to intensify and move W and NW. ski MRG
18/15, SN+, beautiful dendrites of every size, just pounding. Big wind for my sheltered locale. Quite a show.
NB-Weather
Wow, snow flakes have started look a lot better within the last hour. Accumulating a lot better, probably picked up over an inch an hour. The pinging has stopped which is a good thing. Will measure again in about an hour. cja1987
CF should not push much farther west. Praying you are correct. Still ripping pretty good here in Randolph but we are right on the cusp. We rose from 23 to 31.8 in the past 3hrs or so but the temp has been trying to hint at stabilizing but still rising very slowly. Are you thinking we are gonna get a more north- slightly n-nw'erly component?

I wonder if you are getting downsloped being west side of the spine of ORH hills...I've been getting pretty good dendrites and good accumulation near the crest of the east side. SC48
Relax guys. If you read further from noaa. It explains that if the dryslot fills in which it is doing now, heavy snow will go on eastward to the coast, except the cape and islands.
Sey-Mour Snow
So have I... it just hasn't accumulated fast. tnot to bad here.. it started snowing steadily here at 1030 am its 830 pm so 10 hours of snow.... somewhere between 8-10" i would guestimate but im bordering fairfield county so im in the western 1/4th portion of ct

Barre, Hubbardston, Keene, Winchendon are all doing pretty poorly from what I've read... Maybe when the wind turns a little it will improve. Lots of snow, but no real growth... Well, at least we have another 12-15 hours to go. Maybe I will get to 6" by then

dan11295
Precip is just too fragmented do get the vis down to 1/4 for 3 straight hours, unlike in NYC metro were Blizzard criteria has already verified. (JFK was not far from actually being sustained at 35 for 3 straight).
