weatherwiz
Shabbs and I are talking about how poorly this is accumulating. Unimpressed totally with this aspect. If you look at enhanced IR look how warm the cloud tops are over SNE! I think we're getting horrific snow growth in many areas with some graupel and other stuff. What's causing the cloud tops to be so warm?
ORH_wxman
Harvey has 12-24" from basically BOS-PVD northwestward.(maybe just barely S of BOS to just barely N of PVD)
CT Rain
Anyone have bufkit handy for central ct. Something is missing for good dendritic growth. These flakes are bootleg and it's been mixed. Only bad thing I have seen thus far. Look at IR... look how warm cloud tops are. SE Mass accumulated really well earlier with cold cloud tops but now we're getting crap with low level garbage. Shredded appearance on rad is a smoking gun for an underperforming event - it means some layer is shearing the deep layer vortex aloft. thing is, when the best closure happens this may consolidate later - may have to suffer this garbage up front.
