Yes, absolutely! it looks like those little packing styro pellets -

AND, come to recall ..eh heh, almost every time I've been in thunder snow situations it was accompanied by a mix in with this p-type. I also just saw flash of lighting and heard thunder in Ayer. My Met buddy called me from down the road in FIT because he got that too.

Thunder in NORH cty! Send it a little west, please

very small flakes here but falling faster

Giants are awful. We were ripping for hours, just went through about a 30 minute dry slot, now starting to rip again. Guestimate 6+.....will be going out with dog shortly for an hour or so. Still lots of snow left!

My dogs are being boarded for the weekend. One in Gardner, MA and the other in Keene, NH. Hopefully the power stays on in those locations until tomorrow.

Is this storm going to slow down and snow all night, cause nothing ,but wind is happening here ,snow started at 11am and only 3 inches on the ground so far. I guess Branford put its shields up again.lol my saying for just about every storm here is 4-8 in rule applies, never has failed yet..

The band just south of BOS is clear CF enhancement I think. It might be making a bit of a push NW.

Believe it is, we were sitting at 23 most of the day here in Randolph since precip started but have risen to 28.9 now in the last 1.5 hrs. Nervously watching and hoping the rising trend stops if we can get a bit stronger ageostrophic northerly component.
