Is this the heaviest Kocin event ever during a strong/moderate La Niña?

I would say no. There have been 7 events of more than 10" over 14 winters of Moderate to Strong La Nina, with 6 of those events being in strong La Nina phases. I think it is unlikely we reach 10" but still may be possible. It could be the most intense storm to hit NY and BOS but for down here I would say it isn't.

my mom says worst storm she's seen in Wall Twp...and monmouth county looks like there's no end in sight.

white out conditions continue there. And power is flickering.

I had a flicker about 45 minitues ago and I am getting reports from my relatives in Guilford,CT that they have been getting a few there also.

getting absolutely SLAMMED by bands for the past four hours. You guys are in for it big time, and my backyard is still under the gun.

Would love to measure, but it's impossible. I can guess about 3-4" per hour here in Clifton...heading west.

Band is pivoting right over us :D :D
