A-L-E-X
**** Long Island. LOL- can't complain,, but best banding never sets up on Nassau. Its snowing heavily lol-- even if the colors arent as bright on the radar, some of that's from snow pellets being mixed in.
LocoAko
Thundersnow here in jersey city!!!! Oh hello, there, neighbor! That was so exciting and shocking... actually quite vivid. jm1220
**** Long Island. LOL- can't complain,, but best banding never sets up on Nassau. It's going to translate east, it's almost guaranteed. We're getting what they are soon enough (although it's INSANE outside now anyway here in L.B.)

WildWeatherAdventure
We have around an inch on the ground and its light-moderate. It stinks, 20 miles to our east and they're getting over a foot and a half lol. Like I said in the other thread, the tight precip gradients are purely astonishing. Haha, I wouldn't say 20 miles. Here in Easton, we have picked up so far just under 2". It does indeed stink though that those bands just refuse to move any further west.
Kingwill
Alex, I never thought I say this, but this just might rival the blizzard of '96 if all of this holds..... Still a LOOONG way to go for that to happen..I had 32 inches from that one..Maybe lollipop spots close to that but that would take this think stalling or slowing down to a crawl.. A-L-E-X
While I am happy for those who are getting pummeled, it does suck to watch it from the sidelines. No matter what anyone says, if you are weather fanatic and love extreme events, you are going to be bummed a bit that you aren't part of it. Youre not even going to get that 6" min limit of the range that was forecast for you?
shadowsintherain
Winds are so strong here in Flushing, Queens that the snow isn't accumulating, it's just blowing. UNREAL.
