NorthNJwx
Moderate to heavy snow here under roughly 25 dbz in part of the large band. Winds have been gusting into the low 20s at my station and the nearby interior airports. Temp is at 21 with very fluffy, fine snow. As the low continues to bomb, snowfall intensity and wind speeds look to continue to increase for hours to come. This is a beautiful storm and I'm looking forward to shoveling in a bit! gkrangers
Yeah I measured 5.5" a little over an hour ago but I don't doubt that 8"+ at all for us. We've been snowing at 2-3"/hr rates. Will check after dinner. 25.2F with strong winds. Man this is good. No doubt in my mind that I'm through 10" right now.
RU848789
Up to 4.0" as of 4:45 pm - about an inch per hour rate the past few hours - if this continues, the 12"+ forecast will verify - of course, I want more, lol. Just got done my first round of shoveling. Nice, light easy snow to shovel. Up to ~6.0" as of 5:45 pm - 2" in the last hour - pouring snow right now - some of the heaviest snow I've ever seen. About to go to the pub for grub and more snow watching....
JERSEYSNOWROB
Absolutely pouring snow right now here in Marlboro, NJ, western monmouth county!! Heavy heavy snow! Whiteout conditions! I couldn't keep up with shoveling so I just gave up! I measured 7.5 inches about 15 minutes ago so i'm sure we are well over that amount by now. WOW!! Chris L
This is beyond belief... I have never seen it snow this hard with the winds last winter and this includes all FEB storms; likely the HEAVIEST snow rates since FEB 2006 with the winds of January 1996... jm1220
It's just an absolute snow blitz out there. The snow pellets for a few minutes was kind of strange (apparently they experienced it in Hartford too) but definitely none, must have been convective related. Visibility a couple or few hundred feet at most, and snow is piling up like crazy. We have some good sized flakes again too, so we might be back in the good ratio stuff from earlier. A-L-E-X
You know how rare it is to verify true blizzard conditions in our area-- I wonder if this storm will change that and we will have widespread blizzard conditions. LocoAko
~6.0" here. I measured between 5.5" and 7.0" and that was in good spots, but 6.0" looks to be the most accurate. Pouring snow...

A-L-E-X
I just went outside and it is quite frankly unreal outside; much more intense than any storm last year! You remember 2/10 last year when we were in a bit of a dry slot in the morning and people thought that storm would bust and then at like 1 PM it came like a wall of white and wind and madness ensued for the next 12 hours? Well, this one is even more wild than that!
