mattlacroix4
If the GFS does the same it's time. It's edging east slightly over time, this run was just a tick colder, dry slot a tick east... You really seem to be in the jackpot area for 15-30" Thats my call for you. God I hope you mean me, or did you mean eastern MA?
moneypitmike
We've got some AWESOME flakegage at the moemtn. Just light, but things are quickly covering. Light wind's blowing the down with ease.

CoastalWx
Scott what are your thoughts for this weenie down in the Scituate/Marshfield area? Sorry for the IMBY question but seems like this area is shaping up to be the battle zone at some point in the storm, either way should be fun I am curious to see what comes of the tides around here. Well I think you go over to rain for a while. Maybe sometime late evening or overnight into predawn. You'll flip back to snow at that point. Maybe a 4-8 deal or 5-10?? 10 miles will probably make a huge difference. If this goes even 15 miles more east, than that will help.

MaineJayhawk
We're all set. I was bitching about this going on overnight, but at the same time I'm wicked happy that all this pregame fell on a weekend. Family not so happy, but there'll be other Christmases. Clinch Leatherwood
God I hope you mean me, or did you mean eastern MA? Specifically Ray. I think he's safe from any temp contamination which is stll a doubt for Scott/Weathafella/Bob Im putting this up again for history sake. Ruc is slamming the low further west than the models and also the dry slot is UGLY. Probably going to bust but who knows, Kind of hinting at the two QPF maxes right there, dry punch into CT and SE MA, nice for Ray

The Iceman
Welcome to NH, enjoy 15'' or more of high-ratio fluff. I'm hoping I can get close to 18-20'' if the ratios are high enough, though won't need ratios if the NAM is right. hell before last year, I had only seen 15" or more like twice in my life. 78Blizzard
Buoy at Diamond Shoals, NC, 40 mi E of Cape Hatteras, reporting 27 kt winds out of the N, and pressure of 29.42 FR. A buoy 150 NM E of Cape Hatteras is reporting 37 kt winds out of the S, and pressure also of 29.42 FR. So it looks like the center of the low is somewhere between those points. Can't get a full blown snow wood yet because you won't know until later.....I'll be the parakeet. If it turns quicker/later here I think that's a HUGE signal for you guys too. I wouldn't take that for a grain of salt.. Its pretty much saying that central Penn will get 12-18 where the Nam has them at 0.. probably wont happen.. It is interesting tho..
