In Newton, MA here sitting at 26.6 degrees and dropping.

Any idea what the Euro showed for Boston's western burbs? Has the rain/snow line backed off a bit?

Much less concern for mixing above PYM now....and even there it's looking better and better.....even better for the Cape. No worries for you.

...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EST THIS EVENING...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TAUNTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM

WARNING FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EST THIS

EVENING.

* LOCATIONS...CAPE COD.

* HAZARD TYPES...HEAVY SNOW...WITH BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW

LIKELY...PARTICULARLY WEST OF HYANNIS.

* ACCUMULATIONS...6 TO 12 INCHES WEST OF HYANNIS...2 TO 6 INCHES

EAST OF HYANNIS.

Are you accumulating on the roads and under the trees and bushes? It's a spring-like snow in Newport plastered to all the trees, except under the trees where it's melting and on portions of the pavement.

It really is taking its time to get into Suffolk county

I'm going to take a shower and get some provisions for the Giants game which some friends are coming to watch. They understand there will be looping of windows for radar and bb and all shades for windows will be pulled away to enable visibility of the majestic moments of a building blizzard.

Haven't looked at it too much but I think up there it might stay fairly cold..and possibly even snow. I still think we may have some interior ice issues next weeeknd ..Thinking we'll see some sneaky Eastern canadian air try and hold in the cold to some degree..esp with widespread deep snowcover

Thanks, it actually looks almost ideal post snow. Almost like spring skiing

1/2 mile here, 32.0, snow accumulating everywhere.
