measure every hour then clear and you'll be golden :pimp:

Well the problem is where I live there is NO place for me to measure...I usually have to go down a few houses and measure in a neighbors yard b/c my yard is completely surrounded by trees.

They must thinks it's odd, to have a skinny kid in a Red Sox t-shirt measuring snow in their yard while screaming into the wind.

Good luck down there. Hope you get buried up to your navel

Speaking of power outages - this page is usually cool to track during a storm. Doesn't cover everyone - mostly just Massachusetts - but its cool anyway. Back in _the_ ice storm this thing was lit up with a ton of orange/red.

This one is "cool" too, if power goes out... Watch the stations disappear, stop reporting:

FWIW - I hate losing power... not too worried here. Should be fluffier stuff than nearer to the coast, but you never know.

I bet I do get crazy looks, I'm waiting for someone to call the cops one day...but by the time the cops came I'd be well in my house and I can just watch them search the area through my bedroom window.

Yeah, we should have fluffy snow and winds shouldn't be bad enough for power loss, I'd think. No power means no streetlight or floodlight.
