jwilson
I'm hoping one of these times we can just get a great big wide swath of 30"+ amounts, something more similar to '96, rather than having to deal with these tight gradients anymore. They are such a pain in the neck and some areas keep winning while others suffer.

famartin
My ratios are fairly low... barely more than 11:1. When I measured the snow and melted what was in the gauge at 4PM, had 2.5" total snow and 0.22" liquid equivalent. Right now I'm closer to 3.5" but haven't melted it since. bluehens
Those of us in NCC are going to get screwed in this for sure. Being just west of that intense banding in NJ is robbing all our moisture I think. Unless that banding pushes 30 or so miles to the west we'll have trouble getting 6". Hurricane Schwartz just dropped us to 3-6" in his forecast. At 11 am we were sitting in his 10-20 bucket. Newark, DE Light Snow 1.25" 26.1° baro. 26.719 " I have a bad feeling about this. famartin
Early on Saturday morning after the EC caved, made a call of a general 8-16" for NJ. I think I'll be the 8", though there may well be places in the more western areas that don't make it. We're closing in on 4" now.

bluehens
A heavier band seems to be setting up west of PHl from ABE down through the spine of DE. I'm really hoping this thing picks up there. The snow is like fine sugar falling.
