jgorlinsky
Measured ~22" in multiple spots but I'd venture to say it's only about 18". It's still snowing like crazy. We've cleared the driveway and sidewalks multiple times but I made sure not to measure in near those banks.

NJHurricane
Darn I missed it; what did they say? Still heavy snow here...wind picking up again as well... They did a remote to Dave Warren....Dave was reading totals from a graphic at one point...mentioned that totals "not only from NWS...but also from the area as posted on The American Weather Forums"

JCT777
At 11:20 PM, it is snowing lightly and the temp is down to 18 degrees in Spring Mount, PA. With the winds gusting above 30 MPH at times and the snow being pretty dry, there are places with almost no snow and places with foot-high drifts. My best guesstimate is a little over 4 inches accumulation thus far for the event.
jwilson
Went outside to measure, probably won't be again. Snow seems to have lessened as now I'm between two heavy bands which hopefully doesn't last too long. However the winds are increasing and it feels nasty cold outside. Another 2.5" since 9:30/10. That would be almost 9" total, so the NWS has been right on. I doubt we see a foot, but who knows.

LVblizzard
Light-moderate snow getting blown around by the wind here. I'm not even going outside to measure because I know I'll be let down.
WebBreaker63
Concerning Jersey Shore - when the Low heads off N&E those bands on the western fringe may start pulling back and/or dissipate - will be interesting to see what develops

gump
Looks like as much snow as the storm from last December here in Toms River. Hard to tell with how much wind we have had. Took pics but can't seem to get them to upload from Firefox or IE browsers.
Jmister
Another hour passed in Elkins Park, another 1.5"+! Now up to 10.5" here! This mesoscale band has pushed my totals past my expectation. Looks like we could hit a foot here!

CentralNJwx
I'm just getting clobbered here on the North Jersey Coast. It has been unreal. I can't give you exact measurements, but roughly I have 16-22" with drifts up to 30", with this band stalled.
LVblizzard
Dryslot on radar in W NJ north of Trenton now. Some bands are developing over the Lehigh Valley, hopefully we can at least get something semi-exciting.

I measured 17" in Colts Neck at 10pm, but that was two hours ago and it looks like closer to 20-22" now.

WebBreaker63
Torrential snow at the shore, will go out for some more measurements in a few minutes. jwilson
I posted this in the other thread but I'm not sure it will be answered given all the crazy Jersey and New Yorkers. I'm curious...meteorologically speaking, can bands like these seen today setup further inland? Or does the proximity to the ocean have something to do with their occurrence, strength, duration, et cetera?
RutgersWx92
Mt. Holly updated again as well. Storm Total Snow That gradient over my county (Somerset) is just insane. 20+ inches in the southeastern part of the county to about 11 inches or so in the northwestern part. BTW just curious: any snow reports from Hunterdon County, NJ?
weathernut85
It's pouring snow in Drexel Hill, and visibility is the lowest it's been all storm, has to be less than a 1/4 mile. That band is persistent on radar as well, not moving a whole lot.
