Yeah, if this thing pivots like it seems to be doing, we could be on the winning edge here. West of Winston-Salem may get left out altogether. Then again, we may get left out by a hair if it trends east. It's too close to call! With 850 mb temps around -8C, we should be getting some great ratios. NegativeTilt Posted December 26, 2010 Share Posted December 26, 2010 Flakes are finer now,and intensity has dropped off some have about 3.3",but its absolutely gorgeous out there.Hope to have some pics up after sunrise.The way the snow sticks to the branches reminds me of the typical snowstorms I saw as a kid in Vermont and Maine...breathtaking !
