This would be a nasty snowstorm radar. I mean, I’d be happy, but lol.

Honestly the radar's similarities to some recent snowstorms is almost spot on. My backyard rode the edge in each storm this year between the best accumulations to the south and far less to the west and in this storm its the same where I'm at .11 at my home gauge in Reston and .27 at Oakton where I'm at school.

FIFY :P  Hoping the rain shield expands NW later today.  I predicted 0.5 a couple days ago when the goofy models were saying 1.5 plus for my area.  I'd be happy with 0.5 at this point!

Wild to watch the radar loop, rain keeps moving north but just disappears along that NE running line all throughout the region.  Somebody must've pissed off the rain gods at some point.

Southwest edge now clearly moving N and W so the brutal edge on I66 and I95 should push through in the next couple hours

On my street in Bloomingdale for some crazy reason the street trees are sycamore.  I can't think of a worse city street tree than sycamore other than tulip trees...which they're actually planting as new trees as well!  Like WTF, tulip trees are one of the largest trees east of the Continental dive...second maybe only to...sycamore.  Who is in charge of these decisions!?

If I were you I'd break out the Bible or something.  The only reason for this cutoff that I can think of is biblical.  I hope for your sake eventually the moisture overcomes the forcefield.

I mean there has to be a meteorological explanation for this, right? Somebody oughta study it...it must be something in the atmosphere somewhere that set up sometime before the winter that's kinda lingered. No way this is just a random repetition of this "forcefield".
