I am looking at another month of below an inch total (March was just 0.85).  Oh but we excel at thick overcast, chilly and wind for days.  Wife retires soon and I cannot WAIT to get out of this disgusting climate

I thought the same thing when I checked my measurement this morning. I was expecting over 2" by the way it sounded during the night. 1.65" total

Need some Mesonet stations there. Over here in rural Caroline County I am right in between 2 in a straight line. One a couple miles SW, the other a few miles NE.

Starting at 6 am drove from hunt valley to Savannah for two days of Billy strings shows - hit a wall of water around Fredericksburg by 8:30 am that stayed bad until south of Rocky mount , NC. Disappointed for our northern crew that the same issue popped up with this system where the best moisture stops short of that part of the area. We really do need to get the underbrush some good moisture soon up our way.
