near Emmitsburg, moving east at 70 mph.

HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Observation at Camp David

IMPACT...Expect considerable damage to trees and power lines. Your
         life is at significant risk if outdoors. In addition to
         some trees falling into homes, wind damage is possible to
         roofs, sheds, open garages, and mobile homes.

Lots of damage reports coming out on Radarscope of numerous trees down and wind gusts of 60 to 80mph

Trained spotter reports numerous trees downed in Hagerstown (at least a dozen)

Reports on Facebook around my immediate area include power poles snapped in half, trees blocking rural roads, fences blown down, and an unconfirmed report of a roof torn off of a building in Hedgesville.

I'm guessing the Berryville WV spotter report is west of you?

Yes, Berryville is about 25 miles west of me, just south of Berkeley Springs High School.  
Walked my property and found large tree branches down everywhere across my 4 acres.  The whole time I was outside I could hear sirens coming from different directions.  Rare to hear that out here in the sticks.

A large tree is down on I-81 near me and a trampoline landed in the highway also lol

Numerous roads closed in the Thurmont to Emmitsburg area in MD due to dozens of trees down

Seeing some people in Hagerstown reporting green lightning this evening. Pretty crazy storm.

Roads closed and many trees down in north baltimore county. The H on the radar is my home. Does the red velocity indicate rotation or a downburst? I do not see a bright green next to it. The red followed the storm at least a mile.

Power didn’t come back until after 6. It’s a mess up here. Lot of trees down.

Probably more microburst than rotation. Also one of my besties sent me this image bc I guess you posted on FB in the Hereford group and she saw it and asked me if it was a tornado lol. Hope your house is ok!

I concur as I thought we were headed to the basement here with sustained over 70 for 30-60 seconds.

Really lucked out at my house, no damage just some small branches. But a mile north on York Road from my house and it’s a whole other mess. Big trees on lines, lots of debris everywhere on the road. A mess.

Same here. Very fortunate. Lots of damage nearby but my neighborhood was spared.
