A new Maryland Mesonet location in Frederick County (Thurmont) is now live. This is the first station for Frederick County, MD. Despite the wind, it was a great day to deploy this with @wxmeddler.

They keep shifting these products earlier and earlier. I like the approach of NWS Nashville. Meanwhile, there are freeze products in effect all the way into central Ohio and Indiana on April 8/9.

Ug, did your trees already blossom?

They have. So far everything looks ok. I'll find out once it warms up how much damage they received. A few miles to my east it never made it below freezing.
