Yes. Like I said it's a more recent thing, but it got out of control in April. I think that's when DTX took notice. Lmao it had 88 last Friday when all surrounding areas were 80-82. But again, DET has no more weight than ARB, YIP or any coop station. First order stations are what the NWS makes sure are all good (DTW, FNT, MBS).

Green grass is starting to show, and bird song is rampant. Seasonal wx so far this week, except a little warmer back on Wed away from the Lake in the low 60's. Looks like Mon could be on the warmer side with thunder. Look forward to the warmer wx next month, especially later in May for my area. The Lake keeps things a little cool still, but warmer than now.

I dont typically feel anything outside of top 20 is particularly noteworthy, but since we get some of the most random warm stats posted in here, I might as well point out that Jan-Feb, the coldest two months of the year, ranked in the coldest third to coldest quarter of the period of record for many places in the southern Lakes/northern OV. Again, it was no 2013-14 thats for sure, but for a winter that was overwhemingly forecast to be so warm, it was a pretty cold stretch for the wintriest time of the year.

Was just looking at long range and it looks like some areas could be in the mid 20’s for lows around here (even colder in central MI) next Saturday/Sunday/Monday nights. Highs only in the 40’s but have a feeling that May sunshine will cause those temps to be at least in the 50’s. 

Probably end up being 70 with lows in the 50s lol everything has been hot garbage after day 4/5 as of the late.

Perfect wx day here, blue skies and over performed to 24C/75F once again. This is my favorite so far of the year since last Weds it was also 24 but didn't have that warm wind mid-day and its far more green too.

Tomorrow on tap to be another ride with anomalous high DPs, supercell potential throughout SON (TWN is a bit aggressive), high winds. I'm eager to find out what storm mode we're getting.

Was 20C at 5am this morning, nice but didn't feel it. WUN removed the storms off the hourlies  HRRR 10z 12z don't show anything here, RRFS-A 9z had meaty cells popping nearby at 3pm then the line starting south of K-W.

0.96" from the shwrs/stms yesterday into this morning. Nothing svr imby, but did get some pea hail with the initial round of stms. Looks like a 1-2"+ with isolated 3"+ of rain around N MN. That was really needed. Should knock back the drought conditions.
