Yeah, you can see it on Velocity. Both the HRRR and the 3k NAM were forecasting a feature like that on the 18Z runs right in that area but I wasn't buying it. Thats why I don't play the markets lol.

I suppose the low-level wind shear and helicity made up for the lack of other ingredients for the severe threat that yielded this radar confirmed tornado in the Indianapolis metro area. miller.b.time Posted yesterday at 02:36 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:36 AM Here are some photos I took of damage in Carmel. It’s pretty well confined as far as I can tell to a path of about a couple of hundred yards long, maybe a hundred yards wide. Hard to tell in the dark, obviously. But we were fortunate. https://imgur.com/a/eLDQnzR
TheClimateChanger Posted yesterday at 02:36 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:36 AM Exceptional warmth out of ahead of the line of thunderstorms. Might not see the typical weakening due to loss of diurnal heating. The temperature of 82F at Louisville is the highest ever observed at this hour in the month of April. Very impressive, considering its only April 2nd. Many other locations are within a degree or two of the highest temperature observed at the 10 o'clock (PM) hour in the month of April. Glad you're good. My neighbors down the road are pissed off. They pulled the couch cushions into the bathroom, got into the tub and covered up, then the old man turned the water on. I'm sorry I'm still laughing, cant make this shit up. I need to edit the ending because I was laughing so hard... They thought their roof was blown off because all of a sudden the cushions were soaked lmao. He's sleeping in the barn tonight I think.
