Warm front is just not going to make it up here. Looks to stay south of the border now. Couldn’t have been the diarrhetic rain we had for 12 hours straight. It just wouldn’t stop.

Pretty ominous looking for the Ft. Wayne region though.

Punting for Toledo as well. Lake Erie wins

That went about 2 miles from my house.  Didn’t see anything interesting

3K NAM hinted at this which is one of the reasons I didn't drive 4-5 hours into IL. I think if we got some heating a little earlier (and maybe less midday convection in IL interdicting the moisture return) we could have had something more significant up this way.

Storms packed a punch locally. The CG lightning was notable, hitting close in directions surrounding the house. Exceeded what I'd expected would evolve as of this morning.

Via Facebook, sounds like at least 5 semis were tipped over on I65 between Demotte & Lowell exits. :yikes:

Chased the tor warned cell near Cissna Park, Illinois.  Pics are from around 5:15 pm.  Some decent rotation for awhile. Tried to stay with it but was difficult with the rain.
