mattinpa
Yes maybe but it's all moving NE from what it seems with nothing back filling into the MA. But if it's turning the corner and that strong, the MA should fill in nicely.

kurtstack
Yes maybe but it's all moving NE from what it seems with nothing back filling into the MA. We are in a transition with the low and the radar will start to fill big time over the next several hours as it phases.

kurtstack
The 500 mb orientation looks excellent on the new RUC. Certainly wants to capture and stall the surface low to the east of norfolk up to east of delaware. Things will be mighty interesting if this RUC is catching on to something here. Seems to be coming slightly west with every run.

ohleary
We are in a transition with the low and the radar will start to fill big time over the next several hours as it phases. The phasing has happened. I too think there will be some echoes over the MA, but believe the NAM/GFS solution from 00Z pretty much captured things. It's late to think the models are out to lunch, look at the radar.
NortheastPAWx
05z RUC pushes the low really close to Hatteras, maybe about 25 miles east of it.

Dr No
Considering whats screaming into VA from NC, if we get the EURO QPF only or less, it would be nothing short of a miracle. It's likely suffering from the same feedback problems that the NAM is.
