Idk why they always use the warm ground crap.. if it comes down hard enough it doesn't matter especially at night..

Forecast soundings are supportive of a mostly rain scenario.
However, there are windows for some light snow or icing across
the higher terrain of central and western MA. This time of year,
the pavement tends to be a little warmer, so not quite as
concerned about impacts. However, will continue to monitor this
possibility.

You guys have to be winding down now right? Can’t be many people out skiing at this point . Everyone must be ready for summer

Had a few kids out late last week and this week that were up skiing…it’s only 4/1…folks who love to ski will be taking advantage of the great conditions the next week or two.

I’m not going to lie, the sunny days this time of year get people going. But it is winding down.  The spring break vacations have finally ended, a lot of visitors from Florida and the southern states the past 2-3 weeks.  The destination guests are far fewer this week and now it’s largely local/regional diehards.

Snowpack at elevation is still above normal, but the valleys have melted out again after the recent 7” snowfall down here. Nature’s fertilizer? Or just soggy ground, ha?  It’s mud season.

Helene maybe?

I can’t believe the rainfall totals being spit out by guidance. A widespread 8-12”. Given how much convection will be involved I bet there will be some locations that pull of 20”.
