Ah yes, the 2 minutes it takes to reply while reading other posts and catching up on models and such… the anger consumes me.

I have a wall in my basement dedicated to printing out your misguided forecasts interspersed with the word DAMAGE! in different fonts.

Better get that restraining order!

A VERY strong contender for post of the year award!!

Random loud rumble of thunder about shot me through my ceiling. Lol But we keep on missing the heavier rain here. It's like all of the bands want to go around Bristol.

Yeah, I was out with the dog here in Terryville and I could see the storm just south of us. A couple pretty close cloud to cloud or in cloud lightning strikes, not much rain.

About an inch of rain today on the mountain.  Luckily things dried up between 1-4pm for some Saturday afternoon laps.  Then proceeded to rain hard from 4:30 onward.

Two rounds of 3-5 hour “showers”… but did get to enjoy the break in precip a bit.

Closing day tomorrow.  Time to shut ‘em down here.

Stake down to 65”… similar to the above pictured elevation band.

Where did you play? Shoulder all better?

I didn't play yet this year, but the physical therapy seems to be working well, and I think I'll be able to golf. Our house in Maine is under construction so not sure how much time I'll have for a while but when I get some free time I'm going to give it a go.

Still amazes me how much snow you still have there going into May.

And we are behind even other areas in town . Always last to bloom and leaf out . I was there this week and you guys are a bit ahead

Like you, I'm higher in elevation so wasn't talking specifically of your mountain but around the area, we went down to Rocky Hill and drove home from Hebron.

Definitely localized up there… the area serviced by lifts on the east side gets a lot of snow water equivalent in the winter.  Then it preserves it too.

It’s a microclimate zone on the higher elevation east side.  Avoids the direct sunlight in the afternoon that the west side gets in the spring.  The west side of Mansfield is pretty torched to the summit.
