Different here. We had rain but only about .28. Did run into a few heavier showers on the way to W. Leb this evening. The morning was decent enough to participate in the work bee at the golf course.

Weather station at Mtn Ops Center had 1.64” rainfall.

Now it’s 38F here in town with damaging NW winds.  Had to be gusts near 50mph around 4am when I was heading out.

Wild ride the past 24-48 hours.

925 mb jet of 30-45 kt this morning should move offshore by
early afternoon. Wind gusts of 25-35 mph expected today.
Considered a Wind Advisory for the higher terrain of central and
western MA, but thinking most gusts should just come under the
threshold by the time the mixing deepens enough to more fully
tap into that jet. This will need to be monitored through today

Love these early summers that start in Napril. Safe from any frosts here moving forward . Could do without the wind today .. but all in all solid look ahead

Wind's actually slacked a bit here as we're approaching mid day...  Very hot sun, and temperatures tickling 60, it's not near as bad as the gradient pinched CAA impression of the charts would have one think. At a glance that looked like 48 - guess it helps to actually look at the sounding, huh.  ha.   D-slope for the the win...   It's every bit as amazing as yesterday imo, just at the other end of the temperature range.   

Yesterday made 84 here... 2 more and it would have been too much.   62 here with dying wind, about the purest air available to the planet, under searing sun... man, take this weekend as an embarrassing win of April and call it a day.   Holiday weekend no less....

Let's just hope we don't pay for it on the 4th of July like 2020
