I think the most destructive storms we've had the last decade were either last year or year before when storms fired along back door cold front moving to the south west. Definitely some irony in that. Besides those storms it's post front dry wind storms and drought for damage done in our area. Even last year when I got caught under that insane rain band from the tropical remnants picking up 8", it didn't do much widespread due to dry antecedent conditions. Now I'm not wishing anything destructive, I just feel we've been lulled asleep the past decade in Harrisburg

The other thing I've noticed is the amount of old trees cut down in camp Hill all around me is astronomical compared to the past. In a half mile radius of me probably 25-30+ have been removed. I don't know if this was brought on by a change in homeowners insurance policies or through something with a power companies but it sure is a drastic change

The 12z Canadian does much better this run with showing a long duration Winter storm chance starting at hour 201.

It’s still going at the end of the 240 hr run.
