Itstrainingtime
40 and just misty this morning in Maytown. An additional .33" of rain fell overnight. A lot of rain across MD and VA but it looks like the southern tier will pick up a little bit more shortly. Best week of rainfall just concluded in many months - I need to add up the totals but I received approximately 2.5" of rainfall since last Sunday.
Itstrainingtime
Also - it's good to be back. Shoot, this is 2nd family to me on here. I missed the daily banter. Learned a few (hard) things but I'm back better for it. 3

Mount Joy Snowman
Low of 37 and .32" of additional rainfall, bringing my total within the past week to 2.24". In honor of @Itstrainingtime being back, here is a snow pic from my buddy's cabin this morning. Happy Monday!

ChescoWx
Unseasonably chilly week ahead for us with temperatures today through Wednesday remaining in the 40's for high temperatures. Today is our 8th straight day with measurable rain. We should see freezing low temperatures both tonight and tomorrow night. We dry out through Thursday before more rain arrives that night and into next weekend.

This is true - most of us hadn't turned the AC on yet so we were missing that chilled forced air heaven @Itstrainingtime provides!
canderson
I got .35" rain overnight. I didn't add it all up but think I got about .9" since Thursday.

I mean...I get it if you haven't turned it on when it reaches the 60s, but it was in the 80s a week or two ago. I can't fathom not having AC on at that point.
Itstrainingtime
More beneficial water this week: I ended up with double of last week's projections. (though many of you had far less than I did)

The downside to this, of course, is when it gets hot inside it takes longer for it to fully cool down. Win some, lose some!

There was only one time it got a bit uncomfortable in the house and even then there was a potent cold front moving through that very night, so I wasn't going to run AC to then just turn right around and run heat less than 24 hours later. It's all a big game to me ha. I've become quite the magician at tweaking windows, shades, circulating fan, etc. to avoid having to run AC too early in the spring or heat too early in the fall. But I do love your tales of blasting AC in the winter haha. To each their own! 1

Will be close to 90 every day we're there, with lows in the upper 50s. No humidity yet so it won't feel as oppressive as next month and 90. I can and am frugal in a lot of areas in life which allows me to pamper myself with my year-round 65 degree comfort.
