Jns2183
Not sold on much severe in the LSV Sunday - clouds might not let anything destabilize. But the winds will still be fierce and a squall line can still occur even if not officially severe. I don't know the true definition of a derecho, but this evening in Missouri/Iowa/Illinois seems like a derecho event is going to occur. Today might be worse than tomorrow since prime storm mode seems to be late night. Nws St Louis put out a stark afd this morning mentioning possible ways this threat might fail becoming less and less likely as new data comes in. Jns2183
I don't have a weather station but I am going to buy the approved gauge for $42. If anyone knows a cheaper approved gauge please post. I think it would be great if we could get 2-4 new approved locations for this. Agreed. I have cocorahs sites at all 3 of my courses. I also have one next to my official 8” gauge at the house and they’re usually within a few hundreds of each other. Weather your way website has a 5 dollar discount on that rain gauge for the month of march.

Thinking locally is that there also may be an equal tor risk all across our srn tier than what is presented in the SPC guidance early this morning.

Yardstickgozinya
Take it with a grain of salt, but the Hrrr has the idea of bringing a line of storms into wcpa around 4:00pm and what looks to be a more discreet cellular storm into southern York Lancaster co.

I tried to pull up the soundings for BWI because I believe that's the closest available to both of us, but unfortunately, the only soundings that were available atm where Norman Ok. No matter what station I selected.
