As we ended another horrific winter in New England in late Feb.. folks were antsy to get the lawn thread fired up . Thoughts of thick , lush green lawns, pesticides, insecticides , Lesco, children and pets playfully running thru the lawns all are things to start thinking about in the coming days , as we get ready for another dewy summer. Found out my neighbors are moving. I like them, but they didn't want me to cut down the tree that was shading my raised beds (it is like right on the property line). LFG is right!

So I posted about the American chestnut seedlings in last year’s thread. I contacted someone who I had a feeling was the seed supplier (Bill Deeter) and he confirmed they are the real deal and they came from one of his stands.
