A beautiful Good Friday to all! Today will be our warmest day in 2 weeks. We should see temperatures touch 70 degrees today and even warmer tomorrow with some spots hitting 80 degrees. We cool back to near normal in the mid 60's on Easter Sunday before we warm back up into the low 70's by mid-week. Our next rain chances look to arrive by Monday night.

we need some decent rain today, otherwise it looks pretty sparse the next week or so. The 70-80 degree temps with these blistering santa ana type chinook winds have dried out the soils pretty damn well the last few days. To add injury to insult, the leafing out of trees now is sucking the living crap out of available  soil moisture again, thus the local stream base flows are way below normal for this time of the year in the LV.

Today should be our warmest day since we hit 82.2 back on March 29th. We could get close to that mark today before we turn cooler but still above normal for high temperatures on Easter Sunday. We should see our temperatures remain above normal for the rest of the new work week. There is a slight chance of showers both tonight and Monday night.

Mosty cloudy w/the sun making a guest appearance here and there.Too damn warm though.

Thought the older you get :oldman: the more tolerate/like the warmer weather and dislike colder temps. I guess I'm back-assed because I don't see myself ever liking warmer temps and thoroughly enjoy mind numbing cold and winds....

what BS is this?  I am wide awake because it so warm with the windows wide open. At 4:00 am it is 70+ degrees outside here in Macungie.   55 degree low  doubt we ever  reach it..

However at Towanda  PA, it is sitting at 46 degrees.  Cold front?, why yes.  Precip with this cold front - usually a squall line of heavy showers in late April by a cold front with a 24 degree difference in less than 125 miles- not a drop of rain to be found. Winds- of course  20+ mph.

Mt. Holly, be prepared for real nice fire condition's on Sunday for our area.  This is definitely not April weather- more like late October weather.

I knew we would miss the cells last night. The longterm pattern has been quite dry. We were lucky to get rain in the southern LV in the first two weeks of the month. The northern LV and southern Poconos missed a lot of that rain.

Happy Easter to all who celebrate!
Today, while about 10 degrees cooler than yesterday, it will still be a few degrees above normal temperatures. Tomorrow will be a few degrees cooler with temperatures in some spots struggling to escape the 50's for high temps. Rain chances will increase tomorrow night. A couple beautiful spring days are on tap on both Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the 70's. Shower chances increase again by the end of the work week.
