The Philly region has been doing much better than the Lehigh Valley with rain. I only got 0.18 this am, and the airport, a bit further north, only got a few hundredths of an inch. The northern LV in general has seen very little rain, even earlier in the week.

First time this year I went to bed with a window open. Heard the thunder approaching from a distance, always love that sound in the middle of the night. First time this year I had to get out of bed to close said window.

About .65" so far, 62F.

Some storm totals with the frontal passage overnight across the area. Atglen 1.10" /KMQS 0.67"/ Chester Springs 0.35" / East Nantmeal 0.54" / Glenmoore 0.43"/ Warwick Twp. 0.54"/ Devault 0.32"/ Kennett Square 0.88"/ West Chester 0.76". Behind the front, today will be almost 10 degrees cooler than yesterday and another 10 degrees cooler this morning. By tomorrow we will be a few degrees below normal with high temperatures in the low to mid 50's. Shower chances ramp up again toward tomorrow morning and again by Sunday PM. We turn much colder to well below normal temperatures through much of next week with below freezing mornings Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning.

Slept like a baby last night, didn’t wake up once. The storms must have missed the Lehigh Valley.

Half awake I did the five count thing and several strikes were 1.25-1.50 miles away.

.40"

2.90" on the week

Thought of Poltergeist immediately and so did this guy who says he has a better method (30 X 30) on counting distance. Not sure if it's accurate? (Saw Poltergeist in the theater, 1982, Village Mall, Horsham  :oldman: )
